Beate Bille

Sometimes a legacy can be hard to carry, but see how effortless this descendant of astronomer Tycho Brahe and great-great-grandchild of writer Henrik Ibsen does it!
In 2006 Beate Bille was selected as the ‘Danish Shooting Star’ at the Berlinale Festival. 
Only 2 years earlier she graduated from Danish National School of Theatre and had already starred in the films “Angel of the night” and “The art of success”.
By the time she graduated in 2004, she was offered her first leading role in the feature film “Drabet” 2005. 
 The film won several Scandinavian film awards and gave Beate Bille the opportunity to create an intense portrait of her role as Pil. 
A discipline Beate shows in all her roles and especially in “The Absent One” (“Fasandræberne”) 2014.
